Donate in New York
Making an in-kind donation to Room to Grow
in New York is easy. We accept donations four ways: Drop Off at Room to Grow We accept donations at our office, located at 54 West 21st Street, #401 (between 5th and 6th Avenue), Monday through Friday from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. Please call us at 212.620.7800 to let us know when you would like to come by. We offer curbside service when you arrive. We will unload your donations and collect your contact information to provide you with a tax receipt on the spot. Drop Off at Other Locations Petit Bateau accepts donations at its stores in NY and NJ. Customers who donate items to Room to Grow receive 10% off their purchase, and 20% those items purchased to be donated immediately to Room to Grow. Please call or visit their website for hours. Petit Bateau Madison Avenue 1094 Madison Avenue (82nd St.) 212.988.8884 (This location only accepts clothing and books that can fit into small shopping bags. This location does not accept equipment or larger items.) Petit Bateau at The Shops at Riverside 1 Riverside Square Hackensack, NJ 201.441.9882 (This location does not accept equipment or larger items.) Same Day Pick Up For a tax deductible fee, you can have your donation picked up by a messenger immediately. Please call our office at 212.620.7800 to provide address and credit card information. The charge is $30 for up to five bags in Manhattan, and $40 for five to ten bags. In Brooklyn, the charge is $35 for up to five bags and $45 for five to ten bags. Monthly Pick Up We also offer a free pick up service that runs once a month in Manhattan. Based on activity, we tend to schedule our pick ups 4-6 weeks in advance.
