Volunteer in New York
Weekly Inventory Sorting Opportunities We are consistently in need of reliable volunteers to help organize and prepare our inventory of infant and toddler clothing, toys, books and equipment. This is a great opportunity for students, retirees or new parents who may bring their non-mobile babies with them while they volunteer. A minimum of 2 hours per visit, from Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm is required. Seasonal Switch Twice a year we switch our entire inventory over with the change of seasons and always need volunteers to help. Corporate Groups Our New York office can make special accommodations for corporate groups during our Seasonal Switch days or at other times during the year for team bonding experiences. New York Cares Volunteer Evenings Twice a month New York Cares organizes groups of volunteers to help at our New York space. Organize A Collection Drive Room to Grow holds dozens of in-kind collection drives per year through schools, churches, synagogues, mommies' groups, businesses and other organizations.
