Referral Criteria The families who come to Room to Grow are referred by a selected group of prenatal programs in New York City and Boston. Our referral agency partners provide vital support to Room to Grow by identifying parents who are appropriate for our program. Our retention rates of over 80% in New York and 87% in Boston are testament to the important role the referral process plays in our work. Referral partners use the following criteria in referring clients to Room to Grow: an extreme financial need; a desire for parenting support and information; an ability to commit to a three-year program; and, an ability to begin the program before their baby is born. | |  |
