Donate in New York

Making an in-kind donation to Room to Grow in New York is easy. We accept donations four ways:

Drop Off at Room to Grow 
We accept donations at our office, located at 54 West 21st Street, #401 (between 5th and 6th Avenue), Monday through Friday 10:00am – 4:00pm. 

Please call us at 212.620.7800 to let us know when you would like to come by. We can offer curbside service when you arrive. Curbside service is available Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm. We will unload your donations and collect your contact information to provide you with a tax receipt on the spot.


Weekend Drop Off at Room to Grow
We accept donations at our office, located at 54 West 21st Street, #401 (between 5th and 6th Avenue), the first Saturday of the month 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Per building regulations, only items that can be easily carried by hand will be allowed in the passenger elevators. Large, bulky items, furniture and hand carts will not be permitted because the freight elevator is closed on Saturdays. The next weekend drop off dates are Saturdays June 1, July 13, August 3, September 7, October 5, November 2 and December 7, 2013.

Same Day Pick Up
For a tax deductible fee, you can have your donation picked up by a messenger immediately. Please call our office at 212.620.7800 to provide address and credit card information. For pickups in Manhattan, the charge is $35 for up to five bags and $45 for five to ten bags. For pickups in downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Williamsburg and Park Slope, the charge is $40 for up to five bags and $50 for five to ten bags. For other neighborhoods in Brooklyn or Queens, please call our office for an estimate. Consider rounding up your pick-up payment to $75 or $100 to make a tax-deductible contribution to support our program providing one-on-one parenting support to families living in poverty.
