Join us for our first Room to Grow Talks, a new series to deepen our ongoing efforts to focus on issues and topics that are important to our community. Our first session will focus on Black Maternal Health and feature a panel discussion that amplifies the voices, experiences and perspectives of participants and showcases stories of those working to improve Black maternal health outcomes in Boston.

Hosted during Black Maternal Health Week, this talk will raise awareness and recognize the vast health inequities facing Black mothers and birthing people in the U.S. Hosted by Room to Grow, the event concept and discussion topics have been created in collaboration with March of Dimes and inspired by Black Mamas Matter Alliance, the National Birth Equity Collaborative, and many more.

Room to Grow is committed to achieving health equity in support of under-resourced communities. Room to Grow’s goal is to be part of creating a more equitable world, in which all families will have the resources they need to raise their children to achieve their dreams. However, countless Black families and mothers in Boston and across the nation find their dreams of raising healthy and successful children at serious and disproportionate risk.
