Bethany Brichta is the Senior Director of External Engagement at Room to Grow, and has served in various roles within the organization since joining the team in 2014. In addition to fundraising $5M annually for Room to Grow's program in New York and Boston, Bethany oversees the organization's volunteer and inventory programs, as well as the communications strategy. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Bethany has spent the last 10 years in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on community engagement and fundraising for family service organizations. Prior to Room to Grow, she worked in the development department at Forestdale, a foster care and child welfare agency in Queens. Bethany serves as a board member and volunteer with Culture For One, a co-chair of 100 New Yorkers Who Care, and is an alumna of the We Are All New York Fellowship Program with the JCRC-NY.
