Julie joined Room to Grow in 2019 and supported organizational applied research, internal evaluation, and program operations before stepping into her current role as National Program Director. In this role, Julie leads Room to Grow’s program evolution and strategy, and a major focus of her work is ensuring that the voices and perspectives of participating families inform Room to Grow's approach to family support.

Before joining Room to Grow, Julie worked in the global health field as a public health practitioner and researcher.  When not at work, she enjoys hiking, reading science fiction, and knitting sweaters for her loved ones. Julie holds a Masters of Science in Global Health from Duke University, and completed her undergraduate education at Syracuse University.
