Andy Hawkes is an artist and events producer with more than a decade of experience in museum education and public programming. Prior to joining Room to Grow, he worked at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where he led large-scale events and initiatives aimed at engaging diverse communities.

Originally from Detroit, Andy is passionate about community-centered work and also enjoys baking, history, and storytelling. He holds an MFA in Sculpture from the Yale School of Art and a BFA in Photography from Central Michigan University.
