2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the TCS New York City Marathon. Join Team Room to Grow on November 1 to complete this iconic race through New York's 5 boroughs and raise funds to help children and families thrive from the start.
Every child deserves a strong start in life so that they can thrive long into the future. From September 15 to October 15, we join communities across the country in honoring Hispanic Heritage Month — a time to celebrate the histories, contributions, and rich cultural identities of Latinx and Hispanic families.
Join Room to Grow at our 2025 Annual Gala in New York City as we celebrate our mission of helping families thrive while raising the funds to help us meet the demand for our program in New York and Boston.
On National Nonprofit Day, we’re honoring the people who make our mission possible. The nonprofit sector is powered by people: visionaries, builders, helpers, listeners, advocates. Room to Grow is lucky to be surrounded by individuals who bring care, dedication, and heart to this work every single day.
When we talk about giving children a strong start, we begin with the people who know them best: their parents. This Parents’ Day, we’re honoring the caregivers at the heart of every child’s development — and the deep, trusting relationships that help families thrive.
Room to Grow is a nonpartisan organization, but we are not neutral about the wellbeing of children and families. Every parent deserves support, and every child deserves the chance to thrive. When the systems around families shift in ways that reduce that support, it’s our responsibility to speak out, step in, and show up.
Join Team Room to Grow on Sunday, November 2, 2025, to take on this 26.2-mile journey and raise funds to give more children in New York a strong start.
Many families do not have the books they need to foster a love of reading. In low-income communities, there is often just ONE age-appropriate book for every 300 children. Without access to books, many young children can miss out on this critical foundation for learning and growth. At Room to Grow, we’re changing that story.
