Lydia joined Room to Grow in 2018 with a passion for writing compelling narratives for nonprofits dedicated to improving the society we live in. Lydia honed her skills as a grant writer working for the national nonprofit New Teacher Center, an organization focused on creating educational equity for children in marginalized communities. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience through roles as an editorial assistant and in business development. Lydia holds a Master's degree in American Studies, with a focus on female representation in popular culture, from the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. She is also a Skills for Change life and relationship coach.
